Accessing the Admin console
To access the Admin console features, you must first log in using an administrative username and password, provided by your system administrator. Limiting access to the Admin console controls who can make changes to the search interface or modify the Search Administration settings. Whenever an unauthorized user tries to access any portion of the Admin console, the Login page displays and the user is prompted to enter their administrative username and password.

You must have JavaScript enabled for your web browser in order to use the Admin console. When you access the Login page, if the Log In button is disabled, then JavaScript is not enabled for your browser. If you try to log in to the Admin console and JavaScript is not enabled for your browser, the Login page displays an error message indicating that JavaScript is disabled, and informing you that you must use a JavaScript-enabled browser to use the Admin console. |
Once you have finished using the Admin console, you can log out to limit any unauthorized access to the Admin console. If you leave the Admin console open but do not use it, Enterprise automatically logs you out after 60 minutes of inactivity to help prevent unauthorized access to the system from your computer but to give the system adequate time to complete tasks.
